Connect and use Slack with SpeakONUpdated 6 minutes ago
SpeakON lets you use voice requests on your iPhone to work with Slack. After connecting your own Slack workspace, you can search and analyze conversations you are authorized to access and prepare messages for Slack.
Before any message is sent, SpeakON shows you the destination and message content for review and confirmation.
What you can do with SpeakON and Slack
After connecting Slack, you can ask SpeakON to:
- Search for channels, people, messages, and threads you can access
- Analyze messages from an authorized Slack channel
- Find relevant information from Slack conversations
- Prepare and send a message to a Slack channel or member
- Add reactions to Slack messages
SpeakON only accesses content available to your connected Slack account and within the permissions you approve.
Before you start
You need:
- The SpeakON iOS app
- A SpeakON account
- A Slack account
- Permission to connect apps to the selected Slack workspace
Some Slack workspaces may require approval from a workspace administrator before an app can be connected.
Download SpeakON from the App Store
Connect Slack to SpeakON
- Download and open SpeakON on your iPhone.
- Sign in or create a SpeakON account.
- Go to Account → Connectors → Slack.
- Select Connect.
- Enter the Slack workspace you want to connect.
- Sign in with your own Slack account.
- Review the permissions requested by SpeakON.
- Select Allow to complete the connection.
- Return to SpeakON and confirm that Slack is shown as connected.
You can select an existing workspace or create a new Slack workspace during the authorization process.
Search and analyze Slack content
Once Slack is connected, you can ask SpeakON to search or analyze content that your Slack account is authorized to access.
For example:
Analyze the data shared in the #market channel.
SpeakON searches the relevant accessible messages and returns an AI-generated response based on the available Slack content.
SpeakON does not provide access to private channels, direct messages, or other Slack content that the connected account cannot access.
Send a Slack message
You can also ask SpeakON to prepare a message for a Slack channel or member.
For example:
Send a message to the #market channel saying, “I think the recent data looks good.”
Before sending the message, SpeakON displays:
- The Slack channel or recipient
- The message content
- An option to confirm or cancel
Nothing is sent to Slack until you approve it.
Disconnect Slack
You can revoke SpeakON’s Slack authorization at any time:
- Open SpeakON.
- Go to Account → Connectors → Slack.
- Select Disconnect.
After Slack is disconnected, SpeakON can no longer access Slack through that connection. You will need to reconnect Slack before making another Slack request.
You may also manage or revoke installed app access from your Slack workspace settings.
Privacy and data
SpeakON only accesses Slack content available to your connected account and within the permissions you approve.
Slack content and data generated while processing your requests are not used to train SpeakON AI models or third-party AI models.

AI disclaimer
SpeakON uses AI to interpret requests and generate responses, summaries, and analyses. AI-generated content may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
Review important information before relying on it or sharing it. Always review the destination and content of a Slack message before approving it.
