Notes gives your voice recordings a place to land. Capture a thought, a reminder, or an early draft using the SpeakON button or directly in the app — then return to add more, edit, or share whenever you're ready.
Method 1: Using your SpeakON device
- Press and hold the Record button and start speaking.
- Release the button when you're done.
- Open the SpeakON app and go to Notes. Your new Note appears in the list with an automatically generated title, ready to review or edit.
If your device is connected to your phone, the Note uploads immediately. If it's offline, it saves on the device and uploads automatically the next time it connects.
Method 2: In the SpeakON app
- Go to Notes in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the + button in the upper-right corner.
- Recording starts automatically. Speak to add content, then tap Stop when you're done.
Add content to an existing Note
Open a saved Note from your Notes list. You can add more content in three ways:
· Tap the recording icon in the lower-right corner and speak
· Use the SpeakON Voice Keyboard and speak into the Note
· Press and hold the Record button on your SpeakON device
If the text cursor is active, new content is added at the cursor position. If no cursor is active, new content appears on a new line at the end of the Note.
Refine a Note with Voice Edit
- Open the Note you want to change.
- Tap Voice Edit in the lower-left corner.
- Say what you want to do — e.g. "Turn this into an email", "Make this shorter", "Organize the key points into a list".
- Review the updated Note and continue editing if needed.
Search your Notes
Tap the search icon in Notes, enter a word or phrase, and tap a result to open it.
Rename, copy, share, or delete
Open a Note, tap the … button in the upper-right corner, and choose: Edit title, Copy, Share, or Delete.
Delete multiple Notes
- Open Notes and tap … in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Select, choose the Notes you want to remove, then tap Delete and confirm.
Weekly Summary
Weekly Memory Digest is a weekly recap that appears in Notes every Monday. It automatically summarizes the notes you created or meaningfully edited during the previous week, surfacing key ideas, decisions, and recurring themes to help you reflect on what you captured.
What's included
- New notes created last week
- Older notes you meaningfully edited (changes to body, title, or transcript content)
- Key Ideas — important thoughts, decisions, intentions, or recurring themes extracted from your notes
Simply opening or viewing a note does not count as an edit and won't be included.
How to find it
If a summary is available, it appears at the top of the Notes page every Monday. You may also receive a push notification — but push notifications are not required. The summary still appears in the app even if notifications are off.
How to use Key Ideas
Tap a Key Idea to open the related note. If an idea is linked to multiple notes, SpeakON shows the list first. A highlight marks the most relevant part of the source note.
A few things to know
- Weekly Summary is read-only — it does not edit or delete your notes
- Summaries are available for 30 days. After that, you'll see an expired message, but your original notes are unaffected
- Dismissing a summary only hides the current week's — future ones still appear
- To turn it off: go to Settings > Notes> Weekly Memory Summary
