Voice & Text KeyboardUpdated 26 minutes ago

The SpeakON keyboard has two modes: the Voice Keyboard for speaking, and the Text Keyboard for typing. You can switch between them at any time.

Voice Keyboard

The Voice Keyboard is the default mode. Use it to turn your speech into ready-to-use text, adjust tone, switch to translation, or refine output with Voice Edit.

Voice input

· Tap to speak — tap the microphone button in the center, speak, then tap again to stop

· Hold to speak — press and hold the Record button on your SpeakON device, speak, then release

Tone button

Tap the tone label in the upper area of the keyboard (Natural, Friendly, Professional, or Concise) to change the tone for your current message. This temporarily overrides the default Style set for that app type.

Device indicator

The device icon shows your SpeakON device connection status. When the battery falls below 20%, it turns red and shows the remaining level. Tap it to go to the Device page.

Voice Emoji

When using English voice input, say the name of an emoji followed by the word "emoji."

Example: Say "heart eyes emoji" → SpeakON inserts :心心眼:

Voice Emoji input currently supports English only.

Translation mode

On the Voice Keyboard, swipe left — the Translation keyboard slides in from the right. Swipe right to return to the standard Voice Keyboard. See Translation for full setup instructions.
