Device not connectingUpdated 9 minutes ago
Before working through the steps below, run these quick checks:
· iPhone is running iOS 16 or above (Settings > General > About)
· SpeakON app is updated to the latest version
· Device firmware is up to date (Account > Device in the app)
· Connecting through the SpeakON app only — not from Settings > Bluetooth
The device won't connect or keeps disconnecting
- Check the distance. Keep the device within 1 metre of your phone.
- Check the device battery. If the indicator flashes red slowly, charge the device.
- Restart both the device and your phone, then reconnect through the SpeakON app.
- In the app, go to Account > Device, remove the device pairing, and pair again from scratch.
- Move away from WiFi routers and microwaves (same frequency band as Bluetooth).
- Check your iPhone's Bluetooth settings for any blocked device entries and clear them.
- Try connecting the device to a different phone to isolate the issue.
If the issue continues, contact support with your serial number, phone model, and iOS version.
The device was connected before but no longer appears in the app
Go to Account > Device and tap Add Device to pair again. If the device was factory reset, it needs to be re-paired.
Check for updates: Make sure both the SpeakON app and device firmware are on the latest version before contacting support. Firmware version is visible under Account > Device.
