Here&apos;s how your data is handled.</p><h2 id="what-speakon-processes"><strong>What SpeakON processes</strong></h2><p>SpeakON processes the voice recordings, transcripts, and text you actively create through the app or device &#x2014; to provide transcription, formatting, translation, Voice Edits, Notes, and Dictionary features. SpeakON does not read what you type with other keyboards, in other apps, or in system input fields in the background.</p><h2 id="voice-recordings"><strong>Voice recordings</strong></h2><p>Original voice recordings are processed to generate your output, then deleted shortly after &#x2014; unless you explicitly consent to their use for feedback analysis.</p><h2 id="ai-training"><strong>AI training</strong></h2><p>SpeakON does not use your voice recordings, transcripts, generated text, prompts, edits, dictation history, or Notes to train AI models &#x2014; SpeakON&apos;s own or any third party&apos;s. Third-party providers are contractually restricted from using your content for their own model training.</p><h2 id="cloud-sync"><strong>Cloud Sync</strong></h2><p>&#xB7; Cloud Sync on: Transcripts, generated text, dictation history, and Notes may be stored in SpeakON&apos;s cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest. Stored in U.S.-hosted infrastructure.</p><p>&#xB7; Cloud Sync off: Content is not retained for cross-device access. Audio may still be temporarily processed to complete your requested task.</p><p>Regardless of Cloud Sync setting, your Custom Dictionary and account settings stay synced.</p><h2 id="voiceprints"><strong>Voiceprints</strong></h2><p>SpeakON does not create voiceprints or use voice recordings to identify you by your voice.</p><h2 id="security"><strong>Security</strong></h2><p>SpeakON uses encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and vendor controls. SpeakON is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant for applicable systems.</p><h2 id="why-does-speakon-need-allow-full-access"><strong>Why does SpeakON need Allow Full Access?</strong></h2><p>Apple requires Allow Full Access for keyboards that use online features like voice recognition and translation. This does not give SpeakON access to your passwords, contacts, photos, or other personal data. In sensitive fields, iOS automatically switches back to the system keyboard.</p>
